About Task Force Series

For those unfamiliar with the series, Task Force is a line of game supplements that amplify the base game, Flattops & Floating Fortresses. They provide additional threat cards, capabilities, and dimensions to the gameplay. Task Force 41 – USA is, without doubt, our most exhilarating addition to date.

In this expansion, players get all the necessary threat cards, dummy cards, and capabilities for a host of vessels and aircraft, including the likes of carriers USS San Francisco and Salt Lake City, destroyers USS Clemson, USS Edsall, USS Selfridge, and USS Pope, and of course, the oiler/tanker USS Neches.

Many of these vessels historically participated in the task force dispatched to Wake Island early in the war. Apart from these, the purchase also offers additional installations such as an Artillery battery, Fortification, and a Forward Air Strip. On the aerial front, players will get two B-17 Flying Fortresses, the Dauntless, Devastator, and Wildcat.
